Little Hands Prism Bricks
Pretty, but don’t actually click together. These have to be stacked, which most adults, let alone 2 year olds, find frustrating.

<p>50 building blocks that are translucent and brightly colored. Made of a plastic thinner than that of Duplo blocks, which we assume is to help light shine through.</p>
<p>Two sets of wheel bases are included, so two cars can be made at once. The lid doubles as a building base, and the original case can be reused for block storage.</p>
<p>Two people figures are also included.</p>
<p><strong>Play</strong></p>
<p>These really only work if they are one or two layers deep. They don’t connect, but have to be stacked and balanced, so they can’t really be used like normal building blocks.</p>
<p>Building a wall along a windowsill or near a lamp light is pretty, but not terribly exciting.</p>
<p><strong>Observations</strong></p>
<p>Some users are really fascinated with these. They report preschoolers enjoying watching the colors when these are used on a light table. They need to be kept to a single layer for this to work well.</p>
<p>We found them lacking in quality. Recommended for ages 2 and up, we do not see how 2 year olds are expected to balance these on top of each other without bumping anything. Again, they don’t connect due to a poor design, but they have to be balanced. Very frustrating for all involved.</p>
<p>We would have respected ALEX Toys if they had admitted that the toy was not designed well. As it is, trying to pass off a production error as user incompetence is insulting, to say the least.</p>
