Bricks and More Creative Bucket 607pc
Lots of unusual shapes, but not so many plain blocks. Great for adding to an existing collection.

Toy Description

This basic playset comes with 607 pieces, including bricks of various sizes. 4 wheels, 2 eye pieces, and other unusual pieces. A booklet showing how to make various shapes like animals, people, and some vehicles is included.

Play

This set is meant for general exploration of the various pieces and how they can be assembled. Without a predetermined structure to work towards, children are able to stretch their imaginations and build free-form.

Observations

Receiving mostly positive feedback, the Creative Bucket is suitable as a starter set for beginners as well as an expansion pack to boost any currently owned collection. Many reviewers purchased this playset for children who were new to LEGOs, saying that the children immediately began building. Other reviewers said they acquired this set as a way of filling any gaps in their other sets.

Some adult reviewers admitted that this was for themselves.

We did note some less-than-positive feelings about this set, though, specifically because the pieces included are so unusual. Some users reported being limited to what can be built since the number of the very small pieces (one- and two-peg pieces) is higher than they expected. A number of reviewers said they expected to receive a bucket of the larger bricks, such as the six-, eight-, and twelve-peg bricks, and were very disappointed to discover that this was not the case. They felt building options were more limited due to this.

This set will not really provide much in the way of simple building blocks, as it is mostly made of small pieces, and unusal shapes.

Care

Wipe down with damp cloth

Wash in warm water and soap
