The set includes the following produce and colors:

Play

Children can practice their counting, naming, color recognition, and pattern recognition skills. Playing alone, children can sort by color.

Observations

Playing alone, children can work on color recognition, but the real benefit comes when adults join in. Asking the child to gather three green vegetables will help their counting skills. Asking children to sort out all the round fruit helps with shape recognition.

Users report these being toys that children eagerly seek out during play time.

Great for homes, this set is also a favorite of teachers and daycare providers. The toys are made from a plastic that has a slight rubbery feel, making them easier to grip, and they are sized for small hands. These toys are hollow, but are thick enough that being stepped on by an adult does not break, bend, or warp them in any way.

Colored beautifully, each toy has a slightly different shade from those in the same color group. Stems are colored brown, making the toys look more realistic.

The only complaint about this toys is that the foods are not sized realistically. For instance, the pumpkin is a little larger than a tennis ball. We have not found this to be an issue for children. Realistically sized foods would prove more challenging to store, as well as being able to be held one-handed by a small child.

These toys are made of PVC, and are BPA and Phthalate free.

Care
